System Part Number System Model Number Date Code (?)If you see "All" in the Date Code column then the remote will work with any versions of the corresponding system. Most newer systems have the "All" designation.

If you see a value (such as 8D-9A), then the remote will only work with a subset of the system produced during a certain time period. This is only the case for some older systems.

If you have one of these older systems, here is how to find the date code:

    This remote worked great for me back in 2000 the range was accurate on range. I had all the sensors installed. I had drove to Atlanta, Ga stay downtown my room was up on the 42nd floor of the Westin hotel I could see my car parked in the lot. I would play with the remote challenging the range on the remote start and 2 way RF signal. Yes it worked efficiently I was geeked up.

    Viper is awsome! It has some great products and I would def. recommend it for anyone for any type of vehicle. However, the battery life is not good for this remote (I have to replace the battery in it at least once a month), there is no warranty on the remotes which sucks. I've had to replace mine in less than a year's time of having it and I was not happy about it. The best part I like is that you have a lifetime warranty on the alarm itself...would be 5 stars if they offered some type of warranty or lower prices on the remotes.

    Good distance but Battery life sucks. Don't allow anything to press on screen. Happened to my remote and within a couple days I was unable to see screen ( All Black )

    awesome remote, works well, great range, if u use it alot and have the screen light come on when u press a button it chews thru batterys pretty fast, im using one triple a duracell battery every few weeks but over all a top remote system
